Sacrificial Innocence

This interpretive self-portrait conveys the emotions of a hurt inner child and the feeling of being a sacrificial lamb, inspired by the negative experiences with men in my life, from my father to boyfriends.
The central figure, representing me, stands next to a lamb symbolizing innocence, purity, and vulnerability. Using texture to make these feelings tangible, the painting contrasts a whimsical field of flowers and bubbles with the girl's somber expression, highlighting her painful awareness.
Creating this piece has been a healing experience, renewing my spirit and confidence, and I hope you connect with it deeply.
